I was prompted to reach out to Rochelle when I had just returned to the office after 18 months of remote work, I was turning 60, and I was at a loss for what my next step should be. As it turned out, the Live Big Live! program provided the structure and support to allow me to go much deeper than just looking for my next job. I was able to see how I was getting in my own way and how I could create clarity for myself. I also learned how to really appreciate my value and what I bring to the world. And I learned new tools and practices to keep myself focused when life's distractions inevitably start to throw me off course.
One of the greatest benefits of the program was becoming part of a community of incredibly inspiring and supportive women with whom I could share both my struggles and my successes. We laughed, cried and created together and supported each other through the ups and downs of our own individual journeys. Rochelle created a safe and inviting space and led by example; she didn't just provide guidance and impart wisdom, she was in the work alongside all of us.
I was looking for personal development with a goal of improving my business results, and Rochelle turned out to be a wonderful resource to help me accomplish both. From setting a foundation of knowing more and celebrating more about myself through Enneagram studies, to building awareness of how limiting language and thoughts can bleed into our results, Rochelle offers a wide variety of tools that have helped unblock me time after time.
The results (so far!): my short, medium and long term visions are clear and exciting. I find myself taking steps forward daily that I would have avoided or put off in the past, and I am earning more money independently in my business than I ever earned from an employer. Life with Rochelle's guidance is truly a new, more joyful and fruitful way of living for me.
The exercises forced me to think about ME — not always about my kids, pets, or work — and how I need to change things for myself.
The art was truly joyful, fun, freeing, and very empowering. The project I especially loved taught me to be resilient.
I also learned that sometimes I needed the help of the group. Others thought more abstractly, and that really helped me to see things in a different light.
Now I focus on living by the 4 “personal rules” that I figured out: delegate more, think before I speak, be outside more, and set good boundaries. I’m more mindful and make more time for myself. It was great to be part of Live Big Live!
Now I catch myself every time I talk to myself in a negative way, or when something doesn't go smoothly the first time I do it.
Before, hard things stopped me in my tracks and sent me down a spiral of negative thinking. Now I tell myself, it’s OK. You can take this small step and you don't need to give up. I tell myself I can do this today, and then take another small step tomorrow. And if it goes well, I know I’ll make progress. And if it doesn't go well, I know I will do something else instead. This is new for me.
And another thing is new is that I took the time to organize my space the way I like it and to bring me joy. I actually bought myself a beautiful new desk, which I love. It makes a difference every day.
Rochelle, you are an amazing woman. You’re the perfect person for me to have aligned with at this point in my life.
And you are an artist! If someone thinks they are not an artist — and of course we all are! — that’s all the more reason to let them know that, without judgment, you will guide them to make discoveries in amazing ways.
Thank you for showering me with so much love. I am still processing a lot that I know we will talk about soon.
I am so grateful that you took me on this journey!
